Unbounce

Protect your landing pages from click fraud

Unbounce is a powerful landing page builder designed to help you create high converting pages with ease. Hitprobe can be seamlessly integrated with Unbounce in minutes to provide click fraud protection, ensuring that fraudulent and malicious clicks on your ads don’t waste your budget or skew your campaign data.

Before you get started

First, you'll need to create a Hitprobe account if you haven’t already, and complete the onboarding steps to get your site key (be sure to copy the site key, not the secret key) and the Hitprobe tag JavaScript code - keep this to one side, you'll need it in the next steps.

You can find more details on setting up and configuring the code for your Unbounce landing page here.

Adding the tag to Unbounce

There are two ways to add the Hitprobe tracking script to your Unbounce page:

  1. Apply it to the entire landing page: Use Unbounce’s script manager to add the tag across all page variants.
  2. Apply it to a specific variant only: If you’re running A/B tests or only want tracking on certain versions, add the script to a single page variant.

Adding the tag to the entire landing page

  1. Log in to your Unbounce account and select your landing page.
  2. Click on the settings cog icon in the top right corner of your screen.
  3. Select Script Manager.
  4. Click "Add a script".
  5. Give it a friendly name, i.e. 'Hitprobe Javascript tag'.
  6. Choose Head to ensure that the tag fires as soon as the page loads.
  7. Paste in the Hitprobe tag code you kept aside during the onboarding process, making sure you've deleted the angle brackets either side of the site key you inserted.
  8. Click Save & publish.

Adding the tag to a variant

  1. Log in to your Unbounce account and open your landing page.
  2. Click on Javascripts at the bottom of the page editor.
  3. Select "Add New JavaScript" and give it a friendly name, i.e. 'Hitprobe Tracking Tag'.
  4. Add Hitprobe's tag to the Head section (This ensures the tag fires as soon as the page content begins to load).
  5. Paste in the Hitprobe JavaScript tag.
  6. Tap Save code and refresh your page to see your page changes go live.
