Secure your website against click fraud threats

Webflow is a no-code website design platform that lets users create, design, and launch responsive websites visually, without writing code. Hitprobe seamlessly integrates into Webflow projects it minutes, without the need for technical support.

Injecting the Hitprobe JavaScript tag into your Webflow site project takes minutes and can be completed without the need for plugins, using Webflow's built in custom code feature. All you'll need to get started is the Hitprobe tag, which can be customised in seconds.

First, get the Hitprobe tag

To get started, you'll need to sign up for your free Hitprobe account and complete the onboarding process, where you'll obtain both the Hitprobe tag, and your unique site key for the website you've added to protect. You can learn more about the onboarding process here.

Adding the tag to your Webflow site

Now you're ready to add the tag to your Webflow site (also referred to in Webflow as a project), you'll need to decide if you want to add the Hitprobe tag to your entire site, or specific pages of your site (Note - this is useful if you have specific landing pages to track, but best practise is usually to add the tag to the entire site).

We've included steps for both options, but to add the tag to the entire site:

  1. Log in to your Webflow account.
  2. In the main dashboard view, hover over the site (project) you want to add the tracking code to, then select the Settings cog icon (top right of the site panel).
  3. From there, in the sidebar, select Custom code.
  4. In the Head code section, paste in your Hitprobe tag code, ensuring that you've added the site key correctly and deleted the angle brackets surrounding the site key code.
  5. Tap Save, then Publish - this will make the changes live to your entire site.

To add the Hitprobe tag to individual pages:

  1. In the main dashboard view, hover over the site (project) you want to add the tracking code to, then select Open site.
  2. In the side bar (left hand side) select Pages, then select/load the page you want to add the tracking tag to.
  3. Once the page has loaded, tap on the Settings cog icon (top of the page) next to the page name.
  4. Scroll down to the Custom code section, then paste in your Hitprobe tag, ensuring that you've added the site key correctly, and deleted the angle brackets surrounding the site key.
  5. Tap Publish - this will make the changes live to the individual page you've added the tag to.

Important - If you're adding the Hitprobe tag as custom code to a site that already has HTML or JavaScript code in place, ensure that you add the Hitprobe tag to a new/blank line after the existing code, retaining the opening and close script tag (e.g. <script> & </script>).
