Product update: Enhanced activity tracking

We're introducing all-new session activity tracking, allowing you to track page clicks and durations from the first click through to the last. Gain deeper insights to identify engagement patterns and optimize key pages for better conversions.
Product update: Enhanced activity tracking

We’re excited to share some new changes and improvements that will help you get even more out of your Hitprobe session data, especially when it comes to understanding the pages your visitors are interacting with most.

Whats new?

We’ve enriched your session data with a new 'Activity' section, providing deeper insights into how visitors engage with your site.

Here’s what’s new:

  • Timeline breakdown: View a detailed timeline of each page visit, including time spent on the page and the visitor's associated IP address.
  • Total page views per session: See how many pages a visitor has viewed in each session, giving you the ability to see beyond the initial click.
  • Exit page data: Identify the last page a visitor viewed before leaving, giving you insights into user behavior as well as potential drop-off points that may impact conversion rates.
  • Live session indicator: See exactly where a visitor is on your site or page, in real time.

Note: This activity tracking data goes live today, so previous sessions won’t show this breakdown, and all past page views will be recorded as '1'.

Some of the new activity data will also be available in your site’s analytics section, and we’ve added extra fields to the API response to improve webhooks and reporting 📈
